Sobeck |
John Sobeck is the Chairman of the
board, and co-founder of Chicken
Shack Inc. He first opened the Chicken Shack doors to the public in 1956.
Since the opening of his first store, Chicken Shack has undergone many changes with Mr.
Sobeck at the helm. He has overseen the opening of many Chicken Shack franchises in
addition to being present for the opening of Chicken Shack's first warehouse.
Collectively, his stores have served over 187,824,000 pieces of chicken since the opening
of his first store. He has tried to retire twice but his impeccable work ethic
brings him back to the shack time and time again. |

Mark
Sobeck |
Mark Sobeck is the President of
Chicken Shack, Inc., and Sobeck Enterprises. He is the son of founders John and Iola
Sobeck. Mark has worked for Chicken Shack his whole life.
Mark
grew up working in the family business and later decided to pursue this
as his livelihood. Mark as President of Sobeck Enterprises, Inc.,
is in charge of franchise
operations. Since his emergence
in the business, Chicken Shack has moved toward serving the public into
the next millennium. He has developed and implemented a new
computer system, and has been highly involved in the marketing of
Chicken Shack. His contributions include bottling
the famous Chicken Shack sauces. |

Iola
Sobeck |
Iola Sobeck is secretary and treasurer
of Chicken Shack in addition to being the co-founder of the corporation.
Together, Iola and John built the Chicken Shack into what it has become
today, a highly successful family run business. Currently,
she is head of the accounting department. She is responsible for
accounts payable, accounts receivable, and managing the payroll. |

Mary
Sobeck |
Mary Sobeck is the director of human resources at Chicken
Shack. Since her marriage to Mark in 1975, she has been highly involved in the
Chicken Shack corporation. She is responsible for daily operations at the 11 Mile
and Ryan location and also is in charge of the products division. By overseeing the
daily operations, Mary has built strong customer relations skills. Her ability to
direct others and communicate effectively displays the strength of her leadership skills.
Mary's unparalleled work ethic and dedication to the company can not help but make
her a role model for all employees. |
